Never was a fan of the bulky Max97, but I always thought the design lines had a superhero quality. Once we started spinning product in Fuse, this was a no-brainer. Especially dipped in colors.

deconstructed Safari was initiated by Matt Holmes, but neither one of us was around to finish it the way he started it - caveman. At some point, he will finish what he started in a size 12, but for now Leslie Valentine has me more than content. -

when I landed on Nike campus in ‘96, three gentlemen took care of me in the world of design immediately - Andre Doxey, Ray Butts, and Drew Greer. Drew was the Product Line Manager who fed me constant projects, like an Air Max slide. By no means were these projects the forefront of design & innovation, but they were priceless in my knowledge of the business and construction of product. Not to mention the occasional Rocafella or PR Day Parade 1’s in size 12. -
